AudioBookEcho starts with a simple promise: import your own audiobook files and come back to the same place. Library contents, playback position and bookmarks stay on the device.
Native playback, familiar controls
I build the SwiftUI app across iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, using AVFoundation for playback and Siri integration to start listening hands-free.
An import queue that knows its limits
The share import queue handles work in foreground time and recovers when a file or handoff does not finish. SwiftData stores the library and progress locally, so imports can continue after the share-sheet session ends.
Offline by design, with a clear trade-off
There is no project-operated cloud library or sync service. That keeps listening independent of an account, while making device storage and import recovery important parts of the product.
